Our Story

The Canine Parlor started at home — with King, our pitbull mix, who is loved exactly like what his name implies: royalty. That's not a gimmick, it's just how we do things, and when it came time to build a business, that standard became the foundation. Founder Lumie spent years working with dogs through Rover and Wag before creating something more personal — a boutique, home-based experience for pet parents who want real care, consistent faces, and a team that genuinely loves what they do. As The Canine Parlor has grown, so has the team. Lumie's partners, Paul and Franciss, have joined the family business, making this truly a family-operated labor of love. Every dog that comes through our doors is cared for by people who treat them exactly the way we treat King.
